Leonardo da Vinci. GAY?

This morning was a real shocker for me because I read from a newspaper that Leonardo da Vinci was gay. What?! He's a gay? For real? Oh, I still can't believe it and I'm still in shock because I really idolise that man. As I read between the lines, it seems that all the words that describe him as gay can't really sink in on my mind because every time I look into his artworks, it seems that a perfect man has no problem with his gender. I'm not against him being gay, I was just shocked that a great painter like him has also dark and deep secrets. Who would forget his Monalisa painting? Those perfect lines through Monalisa's face were perfectly created and even the colors used were extremely superb. According to the newspaper, if you'll just notice some of da Vinci's paintings, the theme was very womanish and at the same time, it will also arouse some of men's passion about sex (READ: EROTIC). Now I get the point, maybe I'm just too blind to see th

That's ENTERTAINMENT!

When the news broke out that Ricky Martin finally admitted that he's gay, no one was ever shocked. Why? It's just because when his early career began, (Menudo Band, remember?) There were certain gossips, that the Livin' La Vida Loca star has qualities of a potential gay. Admitting that your gay in the Entertainment Industry is not a big deal anymore because it's a common trend especially to those who started their career as a member of a boyband, they've become solo artist, they're album are selling like hotcakes and other stuff. But when they reach the dim lights of their careers, that will be the turning point if they will divulge to the public their sexual preferences. I'm not against that brouhaha thing, it's just that most of the celebrity magazines and networks are putting too much cheesecake journalism to these celebrities. To be honest, I'm very proud of these celebrities who have the guts to face the mere fact that they're gays, proudl

Money vs Love

In the game of Love and Money, who will really prevail? What will you choose? LOVE is the most wonderful gift that God has given to us or MONEY that will lead you in different places, perspectives and power. These are certain issues we're facing every day especially that money overrule love because practicality comes first. For example, if a woman falls in love with a man, she'll critically think first if the man has a penny before she commits with the man who is wooing her. Reality check, we're facing an economic crisis right now and it's a given fact if a person will think financial matters first instead of giving genuine love to their partners. I'm not saying this generally to all the people, I'm just basing this on the kind of society we have today. Do you believe that money is the root of all evil? That's what many people say because a person can kill or harm others for the sake of money and power. Why just can't we settle on the saying that love

Missing my old folks!

Here I am again, reminiscing the past and feeling nostalgic because I'm missing my high school friends. It's been one year since the last time I saw them at one of my friend's house at Tondo, Manila. We celebrated our so-called Friendship Anniversary and I'm proud to say that I'm part of this group. Sharing secrets and problems, leaning with each other shoulders and giggling around, I truly miss it! Finding true friends are hard to find because in the society we have today, some people don't show genuineness and backstabbing is their business. The good thing is, my friends are the opposite of that negativity. From the first time I've met them until this very day, they never change. Yes we've grown-ups, we became mature people but we never change.

H-A-P-P-I-N-E-S-S

We've been living on this earth for billions of years now and yet, we're still asking ourselves if we already found our Happiness? Did you finally see, feel and embrace it? We see lots of images in our everyday lives. Images that will be captured by your eyes and then will stay in your mind. What images am I talking about here? Images of poverty, corruption, climate change, families and different kinds of religion. How do we cope up with these images that will surely affect our lives? Different stories to tell, to hear, to write and to analyze things day by day. In this world that full of anxiety and negativity, is it possible that we still find our own happiness? Yes, we are. We can still find that elusive happiness by spreading love, peace and sincerity to others. That's the only happiness that money can't buy and that happiness can be found in you, friends and families. Now tell me, is it worth the wait if happiness finally haunts you?

Water Crisis

This is my latest entry here but my entry here will not tackle my art but the water crisis that our community is facing on. Just give me this time to say what I feel right now and how devastated I am because of this unexpected phenomena. Gracious! It's been four straight days and up to this moment, our community is no water connection at all. People now are so desperate where to get water to drink of and how to cleanse their selves up. Lots of pales and containers were lined on the road just to get water from the fire truck sponsored by our local government. Because of this crisis, many people are very much affected particularly the young ones (babies, toddlers) because of this incident. Who's the one to blame? If we just look around, our world is full of natural resources that God provided us but we didn't use it wisely. Instead, we are too abusive and greedy just for our own sake. We have clean rivers before, but look at it now, it's messy, dirty and not healthy to
